Anything but Greyhound!

Maybe you’ve had a bad experience on a Greyhound bus, or you’re just too scared from a story you’ve heard to try it out. Greyhound isn’t the only intercity bus company, though your destination options might be a little more limited if you pick a smaller regional company. Here are some (non-Greyhound) companies to check out, for booking your next trip.

Burlington Trailways

  • Sample Fare: Moose Lake, MN, to Hollister MO, $122

If you need to travel between smaller Midwestern towns by bus, this line might be one of your only options, though it’s not particularly cheap. The company also offers city tours and express service between some destinations.
